 USA TODAY says:

• At Saturday night's convention concert, fourth season American Idoler Scott Savol got the small crowd dancing, while Jessica Sierra tried out new material and Lindsey Cardinale wooed with her smile, jean skirt and cowboy boots.

Earlier, the three had named their recent Idol favorites. Jessica said Chris Daughtry and Mandisa; Scott said, "My personal favorite was Elliott Yamin"; Lindsey said, "I liked Taylor (Hicks)."

The Tennessean says:

The audience really didn't start to perk up, though, until three "Idol" finalists — Lindsey Cardinale, Scott Savol and Music City newcomer Jessica Sierra — emerged, one at a time, to sing.

Scott Savol, an "American Idol" finalist, got his City Hall crowd grooving with several R&B songs on Saturday night.

To all my fans and supporters:

Just thought I’d bring you up to date on what has been happening in my life since last fall.

I had been recording an album for approximately 5 months after the American Idol Tour 2005 ended in September last year.  After recording 9 songs, I decided that the music I recorded wasn’t going in the direction I wanted to go. The project was more “hip-hop” R & B and I decided I want my music to have a more adult, contemporary approach with a “soulful” feel.

I gave it a lot of thought and decided that money was never the reason I sang…I sing because I love music!  I’ve decided to go in the direction I feel best suited for me.  The new project will showcase my voice in a way it will be best received.

While this means the release date for my CD will be pushed back, I am certain that the finished product will be phenomenal and well worth the wait.

I have also been making appearances and performing at various events.

Last summer I fell in love with my long time friend, Rochelle.  Aside from my son, Brandon, Rochelle is the best thing that ever happened to me! I would be lost without her love and support. We are planning a summer wedding and hope to be able to share some small part of our happy day with all of you.

I appreciate all the love and support you have shown me and hope you will continue to support me in this and all my future endeavors.

I hope to keep you up to date more frequently in the future…

Forever grateful,

Scott

The Cleveland concert went great! Scott sounded amazing as usual! Those that attended were treated to a few new original, sweet Savol sounds! Among them were
I do and Say Goodbye. Scott also pleased the crowd with his rendition of the Commodores, Easy and my personal favorite, a full version of Ribbon in the Sky! All who came left happy!
