Mid Ohio Sports Car Course
Scott will be
singing the National Anthem to
open the championship races on
the 17th around noon.
Mid-Ohio
Sports Car Course is a 2.4-mile,
15-turn permanent road racing
circuit in Lexington, Ohio.
Located 60 miles north of
Columbus and 75 miles south of
Cleveland near Mansfield, the
track has been called the most
competitive in the U.S. and
annually hosts a diversity of
locally, regionally and
nationally sanctioned racing
events for amateur, club and
professional riders and drivers.

the start of the race as well as
greeting all 43 NASCAR drivers
during driver introductions.
Activities begin at 12:00 Noon
with the command to “Start
Engines” given at 2:05PM.

Local talent gearing up to
perform
"American
Idol" fans, listen up. Do you sing, dance or
perform stand up comedy? The Marion Palace Theatre
is looking for Marion's most promising performers
to join the competition as they uncover the area's
best talent - similar to "American Idol."
There are
three categories - preschool-5th grade; 6-12
grades; and out of high school and adults to
whatever age. There are three preliminary rounds 7
p.m. April 4, 6 and 11 with the final round 7 p.m.
April 28 - all on the stage of the Palace.
Scott Savol,
Cleveland, an "American Idol" finalist in the 2005
competition, is slated to be one of the judges.
